Taking QAssure to the Next Stage

The conclusion of the Innovate UK-funded QAssure project (qassure.org) marks not an ending, but a springboard. With two newly secured Impact Accelerator Awards from Loughborough University, our team is building on that foundation to take quantum network assurance to the next stage.

Over the course of QAssure project, we developed a rigorous, scalable approach to assuring Quantum Communication Networks in close strategic collaboration with BT Group. That collaboration continues, and we are now actively expanding to work with a broader range of organisations across the quantum technology landscape. At the heart of our approach is Principles Based Assurance (PBA), aligned with guidance from the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). PBA provides a flexible yet rigorous framework that grows alongside rapidly evolving quantum technologies — including Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) — helping organisations translate emerging capabilities into trusted, deployable solutions that hold up to scrutiny from customers and regulators alike.
